Nokia 7230 finds it way to PC Mobile

Coming off the launch of the newly created Loblaws “The Mobile Shop”, PC Mobile has released what seems to be their first SIM card capable device – the Nokia 7230. Specs are still basic and so is the no-contract price. The 7230 comes with a 2.4-inch display (resolution of 240 x 320), 3.2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, media player, 3.5mm headset jack, FM Radio. This will cost you $79 outright but comes with a $10 start-up credit, plus free call display, free incoming text messages, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding and 3-way calling.

Good deal for prepaid.

  1. With the new SIM-card phone, also comes new PC Mobile SIM-card for $10 – on the side of the Mobile Shop booth.

If I can get unlimited data access on the HSPA network for $7 on the SIM-card, and I can use it on an unlock smartphone, I’ll be a customer right away.
