BlackBerry 9670 to be called the BlackBerry “Style”?

That’s the rumour hitting the interweb. According to CrackBerry, gone are the days of this flip phone joining the Pearl or Curve lineup. This glorious looking CDMA device is apparently getting re-branded with the hip name as “Style”. I think Style would be a good name to have for a device… but not for this one though. On a good note, the 9670 “Style” is rumoured to run off the new BlackBerry 6 OS.

What do you think of this possible name? You liking it?

  7. I doubt that blackberry would use 2 different fonts. Just look at the “e” in blackberry and style, their different . I’m sure that blackberry knows that the consumers think that this isn’t the nicest looking device so I’m sure their not going tot call it the “style” just another rumor…

  9. I think this has its function….it wouldnt be my choice of phones, but I think it would do well as like a Prepaid Blackberry or something. I am kind of surprised theyre even making CDMA smart phones anymore

  11. I think that the screen size is too big considering all the watsed room below the keyboard… I dont like the style of it. The name is good considering what the target audience is.

  18. It seems like all most people can see is the style of a phone. For many who work in environments that tend to kill phones like construction, landscaping, Marine Etc a flip style phone is a lot more practical . For many a phone is a work tool that needs to be durable. The flip style prevents the screen from getting scratched and dust getting in the keys. I just wish there were more choices for rugged smartphones.
