Rogers has announced on their company blog that the upcoming BlackBerry Torch 9800 will be available on September 24th for $199.99 on a 3-year contract. This new BlackBerry has a 3.2 HVGA capacitive touchscreen with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, runs off the new BlackBerry 6 OS, has a 5 megapixel camera with flash, Wi-Fi, GPS. In addition, Rogers has put a video interview together with BlackBerry’s Director of Marketing, Michael McDowell to highlight some of the features. You can check it out after the break.
No word on the other price plans but most likely we’ll see this hit the $599.99 no contract price.
