Samsung gives $15 coupon to those who sign up for their app store

Samsung has their own App Store, not yet as powerful or robust as the Apple App Store or Google’s Android Market but still a good place to get apps for your device. Good news for those who want to give a go as Samsung has come out with a promotion that gives you a coupon worth $15. It’s currently only looks like the deal is available on the Samsung Wave and the offer is available until September 30th. Reading over the T&C’s it says this is coupon is only available to new users.

On another Samsung note, Top Five Global Apps on bada over the past week are
1. Connect 4U
2. Need For Speed Shift
3. ARDefender
4. BBC NEWS AND SPORT
5. Magic Torch

Check it out the $15 coupon here at Samsung

  2. I’m not impressed that it’s to new users only and they have to register through Kies, or the phone itself.

I signed up a while back because I knew I was going to be getting this phone before it got released, yet I get punished for that and don’t get the coupon?

Poor on Samsungs part for sure…

  3. Well, guess I have to wait to get my Captivate before signing up then. Silly that they exclude web signups, but I guess they want to avoid EVERYBODY joining up on the off chance that they’ll get a Samsung phone in the future.

  4. Not really free considering you have to give them your cc information. As well, if you use it towards an app that is only 1.50, the voucher is used up. It doesn’t credit the remaining total on the voucher to your account.
