Full specs of the upcoming Rogers LG Neon2

Rogers is prepping to release the LG Neon2 – dummy phones have arrived at stores and so has stock. The only thing missing is a full rundown of the specs. Talking a look at the LG Canada site shows all the goodness of this slider.

If you’re thinking about getting this here’s what you can expect the specs to be: Slide with a full QWERTY keyboard, 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 240×400, 5 hotkeys, can hold up to 8GB with a microSD card, 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities (2x zoom), FM radio, MP3 player, Bluetooth, overall dimensions are 107.5×52.5×15.9mm with a weight of 122 grams. In addition, this apparently comes in 4 colours. The only price point we know of currently is the 3-year at $29.99.

There are a few more images after the break, but you can check it out here at LG

  2. I wonder if the “cute” sounds from text-input can’t be disabled again…

  3. I wonder if this will be a gigantic, heaping pile of glitchy crap like the first one.

Turn the phone wrong way? Sorry the battery falls out! Oh what’s that, your phone turns off randomly? User error. Yeah no thanks.

  4. The first Neon is an absolute joke – the past few weeks have been hell using one since my Blackberry fell in the toilet. It crashes all the time for no reason – anything from opening and closing the sider to pressing a button makes the screen turn blank. The keyboard is non-responsive so texting is actually slower than T9, the menu is horribly slow, and the touchscreen has ONE function: dialing numbers from the standby screen – what a waste of a responsive touchscreen. My old Sony Ericsson K790a did everything twice as well as the Neon I’m using at the moment. August 27th can’t come close enough – that’s the day I’ll finally receive my iPhone 4.

  13. kaay. im a 12 year old girl, and i have this phone. I asked for it for my birthday, which was last september, and i love it. Its really girly, so i really dont reccomend this to guys. I love the touch screen, and the text messaging buttons work well. My friend has the first Neon, and its garbage compared to the second. It was a livesquare thing, and its cute. Kinda worthless, but funny. I never use the middle button, but I guess it would look odd with just a call and decline button. I really do like this phone, but better for students, not adults. :) <33
