  2. See, now *this* is an ok plan. Unfortunately, it’s only limited to students and only on those horrible 3-year contracts. One step forward, three steps back.

  3. I’d like to see any student try and stay within 100MB of data. Overage charges FTW!

(Where by ‘win’, I mean ‘profit’)

  4. It seems like an okay plan until you read 100 MB.
Students don’t get bored in class or anything.

  5. “- Unlimited Nationwide calling”
What do you mean by that ? I can call anywhere in Canada freely ? Sounds like there’s a mistake here

I got this plan in may for 50$ ! I have 500mo of data but no unlimited texting

  8. Maybe if you could get it without contract, or 1 year, but 3? Pass.

  11. LOL for once I’m about to say this: I hope Rogers copies this plan and let me just switch over to it… 100mb is actually enough for me, I only use like 60 max with regular usage.

@David, they made a mistake, it’s Nationwide Family Calling

  12. It’s NOT Unlimited Nationwide calling, it’s Unlimited Nationwide FAMILY calling. Still has 10 Favourite numbers nationwide, which is better double what most plans offer.

  13. This is sounding pretty good, I’d like to get something like this but I’m on Rogers till next year. One thing though… where’s the caller ID? That omission frustrates me every time

  14. @David

Yes, they seem to have misread the flyer in the picture. The flyer indicates unlimited nationwide FAMILY calling which, if I understand Telus’ site correctly, is a feature Telus gives to family members sharing the same plan.

  17. Hey,

Your article is not entirely accurate.

It says Unlimited Nationwide Calling (which sounds amazing) BUT should read “Unlimited Nationwide Family Calling”.

It went from awesome to so so real fast!

  22. like to just clarify that nowhere does it say free nationwide calling. at least not to anyone/everyone. it does say free nationwide family calling which allows for unlimited nationwide calling between members on the same account.

On the other hand it is nice to see unltd text/pic messaging included in addition to the nationwide my10, cause really who only texts 10 people?

  24. $8 a month for Caller ID? :/… What the hell? That should be free, I should always know who’s calling me. What if it’s TELUS wanting to talk to me about how s*** they are? How will I tell them how s*** they are, if I don’t know it’s them calling…

  27. Lol. Pretty wimpy plan tbh. 100mb is going to be pretty… tight for the monthly quota… i’d rather spend the extra $10 (and get another 400…) just in case i go over because overage fees will eat you alive.

About the Iphone thing… no plan is going to help you, you’re all lost causes already.

  28. @cadet: actually they can’t change the terms once you sign on for a 3 year contract. You could graduate in 2011 and they can’t make you change your contract! That’s the basic reason you sign a contract. So get your facts right man.

@amandeep: Yes, this plan will work for iPhone 4 but you are going to be super stringent with your data usage make sure you are in wi-fi.
