Public Mobile now operates in both Toronto and Montreal and has a couple monthly rate plans to choose from. Today they have announced Overseas Long Distance and International Texting is available.
Here’s the deal when it comes to these offerings:
Overseas Long Distance costs $15 a month and can be added to the $40 Talk and Text plan. This gives you Unlimited calling to 45 countries (40 countries include landline calling only, 5 countries include landline and mobile calling). To see if the country you want to call is included Public has set up an online tool so you can check before you call (see it here).
International Texting is now included in the $40 plan and you can can go nuts and send as many texts as you want as it’s Unlimited. Public says that it’s available to 190 destinations in the world.
