HTC is continuing to gain traction when it comes to the handset market share. They reported their Q2 results and it’s another record… $268 million in unedited profit (up 33% from last year), shipped 50% more devices than last year at 4.5 million units and analyst Bonnie Chang of Yuanta Securities believes that HTC will ship over 20 million handsets this year.
HTC said that the “second-quarter earnings result is better than its original second-quarter guidance, [as] both June and second-quarter revenues continuously hit record highs”.
Nice work HTC… bring us Canadians the Android-powered Desire please!
