Bell announced that they’ll stream live CFL games to your smartphone. The partnership is with TSN and includes all 2010 regular season and playoff games produced by TSN and RDS. Of course this is not a free service and Bell customers will have to pay $8 per month plus data charges for Mobile TV access.
Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility said “Our partnership with TSN and RDS means Bell clients can access the best of Canadian football on their smartphones and see how watching live sports just got better.”

It could have been a great feature. But like most things with the big 3, they come up with something decent, then it seems they sit down and think about how they can gouge customers as much as possible for it.
It’s not enough they charge you a monthly fee, whether you use the service or not, but data useage on top of that? Two to three hours of video streaming per game? How much data is that going to consume?? So, along with the $8/month, you could very likely end up with overage data charges as well.
