Well it looks like their just might be some Windows Phone 7 devices actually coming to Canada! No official word but thanks to the hard work famed ROM hacker “conflipper” who found a bunch of HTC devices that are heading to either Rogers, Bell or TELUS. Based on the carrier codes here’s the findings:
HTC Buzz is heading to Rogers.
HTC Schubert going to Telus.
HTC Mondrian going to Telus & Rogers.
HTC Scorpio (aka HTC Olympian) is going to Bell.
HTC Spark (World Phone) is heading over to Bell.
More news on these will follow but some of these devices are unknown… no word on when these will be coming as Canada was not part of the Mircosoft initial launch plans for WP7 devices.

Windows Phone 7 should rock. Very excited for it. Solid OEM partners and minimum hardware specs. Should be great.
Next half of 2010 so many nice Smartphone OS updates coming
Blackberry OS 6
Symbian^3 and soon after ^4
iPhone OS 4.0
Andriod 2.2 Foyo, Gingerbread should be coming not long after.
WebOS should get an update also.
MeeGo Devices might start appearing in the next half of 2010 and Samsungs Bada.
All i can say is SAVE YOUR HARDWARE UPGRADE CREDITS. Some nice stuff coming right around the corner.

I thought that the HTC Scorpio (aka HTC Olympian) was supposed to be an Android 2.2 phone according to that leaked ROM back in Feb ’10.

@Quatchi
What about Wind? You are aware that they are a small-time competitor with an even smaller client base, right? They don’t have the customers nor the money to have these items manufactured for them yet.

It’s not right that only Bell and Telus be able to hold these phones. I’m sure there will be a phone that can be bought out right and we just get a wind sim card. It would be too weird if these new phones had no capability to use Sim cards that other carriers provide.
