Earlier today the CRTC gave Mobilicity the conditional green light to launch their new wireless network. They just have to change a few details when it comes to their Shareholder Agreement but other than that they are good to go!
They sent out a press release that said they are on track to launch soon and will “bring consumers truly unlimited plans with unbeatable value”. Mobilicity Chairman John Bitove stated “We have been given the approval to offer Canadians truly competitive wireless services. It has taken four years to get to this stage and the impact of our upcoming launch will be felt across the country. We want to thank the CRTC for its insightful handling of our application and let consumers know that Mobilicity will be bringing simplicity and value to Canadian wireless customers very soon.”
I’m looking forward to seeing their offerings and what they believe “truly unlimited plans” are compared to al the other carriers who offer “unlimited plans”.
