Koodo Mobile set to release LG Banter at $149.99

Thanks to a tipster who sent us a screenshot of an inventory system that shows Koodo Mobile prepping to launch the LG Banter. Looking at the image this might be priced at $149.99 with no contract, or most likely $0.00 with the Tab.

The banter was just released by parent company TELUS and comes with a 2.2 inch display (resolution of 240 x 320), full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video capabilities, holds up to 16GB with a microSD card. Overall dimensions are 112 x 52 x 17.3mm, weighs of 126 grams.

  2. *sigh* As a frontline koodo employee, let me just throw this tidbit out there – until a product actually HITS THE STORE, there is no way of confirm whether or not a product is being ‘launched.’

    Memorably, last year we were expected to have the black krzr (even spoken about internally!) and it just never arrived. same with the Motorola RZR 2. deal feel through, apparently, it just sorta vanished.

    all im saying is, present fact for fact, speculation for what it is – SPECULATION!

    mobilesyrup provides a great service for canadian cell users, so just try to ensure that you’re upholding some journalistic integrity, that’s all.

    ‘Is Koodo Mobile Preparing to launch the LG Banter?’

    That would’ve made a much better headline.
