No thanks to them and many thanks to the large community online that wants to keep this phone open and not burdened by crappy out of date software. Make no mistake, what rogers are doing is ILLEGAL (redirecting 911 calls, come on!). My advice to Brendan is don't bother with rogers at all, their support for Android is utterly disgusting. Wait a bit longer for one of the new networks to come to your area then get a Nexus One/Two. The rest of the world has had 1.6 since last fall, rogers is still on 1.5, even with their new "upgrade".
