I tried the keyboard in Chicago when the Droid launched, and I thought it was much better than the touchscreen. All other signs point to it being a great device. Will be ditching my blackberry pearl (over 3 years old) for it, and can't wait. I've enjoyed using the bberry, but the software was not there and performance is definitely lacking. I’ll be buying. THe DPad is akward but very nice for gaming/nes emulator and such. The thickness of the phone is impressive and even without a hardware keyboard this phone would be worth considering. So now I find my self questioning buying this when I can get the Nexus One for probably similar price if not cheaper, and you got a much faster processor, double the RAM, and its much thinner!
