The anticipated Motorola Milestone will be launching soon (very soon) and even though there were several rumoured dates about the TELUS release… the fine folks at Moto have started the official teasing by releasing 4 very quick “How-to” videos about the new Android-powered device.
Check them out below, you’ll see it gives greater insight on how to “Get to Know Your Phone”, “Run Multiple Apps”, “Mobile Web Browsing”, “Home Screen & Notification Panel”:
Who’s excited about this device? More importantly… who’s looking to buy?
(Thanks John!)

I want one so bad!

I’ve been interested in this phone since the US release. My only worry is the subpar keyboard… Anyone actually tried it?

Nexus One should be coming to WIND soon, I’ll wait for that but then again something better might come along shortly after. (says the man still using his 8120 lol)

Telus is making me crazy… Just release it already!

hmmm they are showing paid apps in the market…is this a US made video, or are we actually getting official paid apps in Canada finally!

I wanted this before.. one of the big points for me was the physical keyboard since I am still not a fan of the on screen keyboard.. However, my dad got the Droid from the states, and I tried it. The screen is so big that the on screen keyboard is actually really easy to use. I tried using the physical keyboard, but the buttons are too small and hard to press. So I ended up sticking to the on screen!
So now I find my self questioning buying this when I can get the Nexus One for probably similar price if not cheaper, and you got a much faster processor, double the RAM, and its much thinner!
Had they released it back in Nov, I would’ve bought it since I didn’t know better and thought I’d like the physical keyboard more.. but now I will wait until the Nexus One or an HTC equivalent comes to Canada.

I toyed with one when in the states, and the keyboard IS subpar, that being said, it is pretty usable and nothing you won’t get accustomed too. THe DPad is akward but very nice for gaming/nes emulator and such.
The thickness of the phone is impressive and even without a hardware keyboard this phone would be worth considering. Also the call quality and the build quality is superb!
Expect for that weird walmart page, nothing indicate we will see the nexus one in a 850/1900 3G flavor, and when it gets here, we will have the HTC bravo, X10, ?Htc supersonic?,etc.
I will be buying one, unlock it, put my fido SIM and then root it, then busy box, then custom rom, ?google navigation, etc the day it comes out.
Please be 2nd week of february or before!?! I refresh Mobile syrup every hour, guys break the news first!!!

I like the HTC experience better. Android is great but the UI on Hero is way richer.

yaaay! I’m getting sick of my old phone (I mean old), can’t wait to upgrade

I’ll be buying. I tried the keyboard in Chicago when the Droid launched, and I thought it was much better than the touchscreen. All other signs point to it being a great device. Will be ditching my blackberry pearl (over 3 years old) for it, and can’t wait. I’ve enjoyed using the bberry, but the software was not there and performance is definitely lacking.
