@theninjasquad just so you know the WIND 9700 and the Virgin Bell 9700 different Frequency TRI band. Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin are using the 2100/1900/850 Bands. If you got the wind phone and u didn’t like them well good luck ur stuck with wind. Only carrier in canada can be used on.

That royally pisses me off and it’s almost as if bell is throwing dirt in my face. Seriously, why should I stay with bell when I’d save at least 45 bucks a month for the exact same thing. Actually scratch that, better customer service and same network if I go with virgin.

lol on their site “be the first the know about the bold” um….they are aware the bold has been available on other networks for a few months now, it shows how stupid they think their client base is hyping a device you can get right now!

Virgin is owned by Bell. It IS Bell. Nothing they do will shake anything up and this is just more outright deception that needs to stop. Subsidiaries should not be allowed to operate in what is faked to seem like ‘competition’ in order to downright trick the uninformed.

uh they aren’t going to shake things up with those prices. Unless they do something crazy with the plans. Why would anyone want to spend $600 for a BB 9700 at Virgin when you can go to Wind and get it for $450?
