Rogers 10 minute BlackBerry outage planned for January 17th

Rogers is planning maintenance activity for Blackberry Enterprise Server on Sunday, January 17th, 2010. It’s planned for 2:00am but is blocked off for 4 hours. However, it also states that the maintenance will only last 10 minutes.

It’s always good to be informed of any outage ahead of time. Here are the full details:

Start Time: 02:00 AM (EDT)
End Time: 06:00 AM (EDT)
Estimated Outage Length: 10 minutes

Work Summary: Rogers customer with Blackberry devices may be unable to send or receive messages during the maintenance. They may also be unable to register their device, roam in another location, or use other services such as Internet browsing. At the same time, BlackBerry Enterprise Servers may be unable to connect to the BlackBerry Infrastructure during this maintenance.
