Contest: Win a TELUS HTC Hero!
Saddle up everyone! This is our last contest of the year and we are again in the giving mood. This time it’s a TELUS HTC Hero… we’ve put a couple video up on this if you are interested to learn more before you enter. But honesty, simply throw your name into the draw and then learn.
Here is a quick rundown of the TELUS HTC Hero: it’s the first device to have HTC Sense, a 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen with a HVGA resolution of 320×480 (has an accelerometer), 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and video, can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card (TELUS ships with a 2GB card), 3,5 mm headset jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Google Maps, access to the Android Market.
To enter the contest all you have to do is submit your name in the comment section below. The contest goes until Friday, December 18th at 4:00pm and as usual we’ll announce our winner shortly after. Whoever the winner is we’ll make sure you get this before December 24th in case you want to give it as a gift to that special someone, or just keep it for yourself. You can only enter your name once…Go ahead, enter your name below!

I’m actually going to be holding out for WIND to launch in Edmonton and then I’ll get myself an N900; but I’m throwing my hat into the ring because my sister, who is on a Telus contract, DESPERATELY needs a new phone! She’s gotten used to the ease of resistive touchscreens, but Telus’ dogged determination not to allow people to update to Samsung’s newer Instinct firmware has left her with a buggy and frustrating phone. How I’d love to be able to hand her a Hero for Christmas; talk about an upgrade!

HTC hero, one of the best touchscreen compatible devices out on the market in Canada. It would be nice to have this phone over my LG vx-10000 (otherwise known as the LG voyager) Though, I would say that the qwerty function of this phone I have is good. HTC hero’s touch response and functions are 100x times better. I would love to switch over to smartphone section from mobile phone. I hope you would give me this change to switch.
