It was only a couple weeks ago that we first saw the eBay for BlackBerry app being demonstrated… today this free app can be downloaded in the BlackBerry App World.
It’s still a beta release but the claim to fame with this app is that can follow your items without being strapped to your computer. Features include the following:
• Real-time home screen notifications of bids
• Calendar reminders and email notifications for auction end dates
• PayPal compatibility
I’ve downloaded the app and it looks incredibly easy to use. Shows up in Canadian dollars, simple navigation and search areas. Will find something to bid on later and give a full review also. Here are some stipulations according to eBay and RIM that you must have:
“eBay for BlackBerry Smartphones requires (1) Activation with data plan (2) Internet service browsing capabilities (3) BlackBerry smartphone with at least 64-MB of built in memory (with at least 100KB available) and (4) BlackBerry Device Software v4.2 or higher.”
