One thing people are forgetting about Rogers is that if there is a problem with the 3G network, say an outage, you can fall back to the GSM network.

With Bell/Telus, since they didn't implement GSM, if there is a 3G outage, you're out of luck.

"Customers looking for a proven HSPA network will continue to choose Rogers,"

The only thing that's proven is that it stinks and my phone keeps dropping to GSM or decides 302-880 is better to hang onto.

Good find DN.

...and did you notice? Every single phone on there is FREE on just a 24 month contract!

I think what Rogers meant is every wirless company around the world is envious of how much revenue they can generate off the backs of their customers while offering so little in return.

Caution everyone...lots of misinformation on the Bold 9700...I spoke with customer care and they said it was UMA ready..I wondered why does it not show in the release or on the web...I ask to specifically talk to someone in blackberry technical support and she said UMA is NOT supported. That is extremely misleading and hope no one gets burned by this ....come on guys UMA ready DOES NOT mean UMA active

such a disappointment!!

Don't kid yourself Rogers. With bogus fees, high rate plans, limited benefits for those rate plans and 3 year contracts, few places in the world are envying anything about Rogers or any other Canadian wireless company for that matter.
