No way, you cannot do this at least you have an unlocked phone
In the same way that could be hard to do even with unlocked phone, as per TELUS representative all phone is note 100% 3G, HSPA or other, it look like a hybrid phone wish work both new HSPA and old TELUS network.

Sorry for the stupid question, i am kinda a noob, does HSPA mean that the above phones run with SIM cards? If this is true can i just buy a another phone with a SIM card card and use a telus SIM card? any replies would be great. Thanks

I’ve been aiming towards the BL40 ever since I heard the rumours of it going for TELUS, but DAMN!

$50/month is just WAY too much!

@Joshua Flynn – Storm2 is not a HSPA device – it’s still a CDMA world phone. Launching on Verizon at the end of the month(Oct 28th) and probably will be to Telus shortly afterwards.

No way, seriously the HERO coming in 3g, now if it’s not a branded POS with the Telus logo at the top, it’s a must buy.

Storm2 absent …. Rogers bound perhaps. A Telus rep told me they are getting it but perhaps this confirms it’s not a HSPA device
