great phone, love the bl40. very practical, fast processor, huge touch screen. my favorite unlocked cheap phones this year i think. my wife and i love them, huge screen, the email and gps are great for my business and the gps helps me get around for my meetings. these unlocked cell phones are very practical. my daughter loves hers for the facebook and games, they keep her busy and out of my hair too lol. but besides that, it is really big, sometimes too big, screen slows down sometimes too. I still like it though. way better than our old unlocked android phones. got our blackberry unlock codes and nokia unlock codes free as well so that’s nice. the speaker phone is loud enough for when i’m in the car and the battery life is long enough to last all day so that’s practical. the web browser helps me rent movies and keep up on my fantasy team too. got our last couple unlocked world phones at unlockthatphone.com 2 thumbs way up

ok buddy, this is your second review i’ve had to listen to, and again, not to be rude, but it’s way off. First of all, the phone is way to complicated to operate for a regular user. The graphics of LG’s OS do not do the potential screen resolution justice at all. The phone lags a bit and the touch screen is not very precise. For other users reading this, Telus have taken away the data requirement for the phone in an attemt to unload inventory, don’t buy it, save the money and get a samsung advance, not as glamorous, but way easier to use… Good points fro this phone are its movie watching capabilities. Bad points…everything else

if you go to telus’s website and try to “purchase” one, it doesn’t let you add a smartphone plan to it. seems to be the cheap unlimited browser plan wins

What is the OS on this thing? Is this a “smartphone” requiring a real data plan or will it be compatible with the cheap unlimited browser plan?

the back looks cheep..i like this phone but after having a blackberry pearl n it always having a cheep back piece i dont think i want it again

Can’t help but notice there is no reception… Is this a live device? or do you not have coverage where you’re at?
