Video: Launch party for the “New Chocolate” LG BL40

It’s been a long time since we first found a hidden XML file on the LG site that showed TELUS will be launching a device with the model number being LG BL40.

During Fashion Week in Toronto today, LG Canada took some time to officially announce the next generation Chocolate (LG BL40) will be available soon on TELUS’ new network. We are still waiting for an official date and pricing from TELUS, but you can bank on this being available early November.

You’ll see LG Spokesperson Frank Lee doing the official unveiling of the New Chocolate and communicates all it features: 4-inch WVGA touchscreen (tempered glass) with a resolution of 345×600, 5.0 megapixel camera with Schneider-KREZUZNACH lens, on device photo-editing, video trimming, flash and front facing camera, one touch copy and paste, HTML web display, accelerometer, Wi-Fi, mutli-page web browsing (up to 7 pages), 3.5 mm headset jack, dual screen UI and gesture shortcuts.

Check out the video here (still uploading to YouTube and kinda grainy still):

  3. The phone just has the looks…
Seriously, the phone seems so sluggish and the touch response seems so horrible for a today’s touch phone.
I can’t find a good reason to get a phone like this.

  4. to “Seungheon Lee” im not seeing were it was being sluggish ? maybe your connection? or you don’t tha tha meening of tha word? I watched via my HTC & seems varry quick, snappy and responsive – looks stupid and I aswell would never buy one.. but wouldn’t mind testing it, it is a nice device and has a lot of good features….. just think “there main selling point” tha screen ratio, looks trash! watch More videos on this phone some option and menues are way to small in landscape, and in portrait tha screen is way small & to long… maube good for somethings but couldn’t handle this as an everyday device..
