Apps Lab shows rejected Windows Marketplace apps

Windows Mobile Dev team created a video of some of the apps that didn’t make it to their Marketplace. It’s pretty funny to get an insiders look of how the Microsoft Apps Lab work on a daily basis.

In Canada, we’ll first be seeing Windows 6.5 on the upcoming Bell Samsung Omnia II. Also, while at CTIA a couple weeks ago we got a sneak peak of the Marketplace demo on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2.

    1. This just shows how far detached from reality they are at Microsoft. Its ironic that people inside Microsoft think this is funny when in fact it is the exact reason they are so far behind. What they think is useless or wasteful is exactly what consumers are falling all over themselves to get.

This is Ballmer culture and it really needs to go.

    2. How many phones even have legitimate access to the Windows Marketplace right now? I can’t think of too many.

Still waiting on my TouchPro2 update.
