For those who are anxiously waiting for a decision from the CRTC to see if Globalive will officially be able to launch their new network will have to wait a few more days. Originally the news was going to be communicated on October 23rd, but this has been moved to October 29th.
On the CRTC website they wrote: “The Commission’s decision concerning the following proceeding, initially scheduled for 23 October 2009, will be issued on 29 October 2009. Proceeding to consider the compliance of Globalive Wireless Management Corp. with the ownership and control regime.”

Wow…they cannot be serious.
I believe if anything, this is substantial proof that CRTC is fully in bed with the Big Three oligarchy.
But, I’m still behind WIND and will continue to wait.

When it comes down to approving or denying their compliance, I hope the CRTC will do the right thing and pass Wind.

Does CRTC want to break the law or not? That is the question.

Jeez…not more waiting! Globalive seems pretty confident they’ll get the go ahead. I hope they’re right! Canada needs them badly.

Probably not a good sign for them. Delay means they are thinking it over more thoroughly than some might like.

The CRTC is a sad example of how the big three rules our choices based on money and greed.

This is quite dissapointing to hear. I was so looking forward to this decision. I just hope it is in favor of Wind Mobile when it finally does come out. I am hoping before Christmas, I will be using a cell phone from Wind Mobile.
