Rogers to match text donations from tonight’s Jays game

Earlier this week we let you know that you can now make charity donations by text message. Today at the Jays game you can make a $5.00 donation to the Jays Care Foundation by sending the text message “CARE” to short code 20222. If you do, Rogers will match your donation with a $5 contribution as well.

Even if you are not at the game you can still text from wherever you are and make a donation. This is also good for Fido customers also. The donation will appear on your next wireless bill.

The Jays Care Foundation focus is to improve the lives of kids in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Danielle Silverstein, Executive Director of Jays Care Foundation said “This is an exciting opportunity for Jays Care to connect with donors. We’re very thankful to Rogers Wireless and Mobile Giving Foundation for providing this innovative and easy way for donors to get involved with Jays Care.”
