We know that carriers don't make money from their devices in first 18 months; so I think Bell is adjusting device prices to make some money off them with (hopefully) new competitive plans. With three new carriers come into play and new HSPA+ network from Rogers, Bell needs an ace in its hands to be competitive. I’m thinking Bell is moving towards more affordable voice/data plans.
