Due to some unknown factor (ineptitude? malice?), you cannot buy any apps from the Android Market with a Rogers Android phone. Having crippled the Dream and the Magic in this way, it's no wonder that Rogers is forced to discount them heavily. Who in their right mind would lock themselves into a three-year ownership of a phone with no paid apps, while Apple- and RIM-owning friends taunt them for their stupidity? not much of a threat to RIM and Apple from Rogers’ version of Android devices.
