Video: Unreleased Bell Samsung Reclaim Unboxed

We got hold of the Samsung Reclaim, this is the eco-friendly device that’s going to be released on Bell September 17th. You’ll see in the unboxing video that this device has a full QWERTY keyboard and is also one of the smoothest sliders I’ve ever used.

The Samsung Reclaim is made from corn based bio-plastic materials and 80% of it is recyclable. Even the standard wall charger has been Energy Star approved (this is supposed to take 12 times less energy to charge). We’ll do a full review over the next few days, but in the meantime here are some specs of the Reclaim: comes with 2.4 inch display (resolution of 320×240), a slide-out 4-row full QWERTY keyboard, MP3 Player, 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, hold up to 16GB with a microSD card, 3.5mm headset jack, messaging options (IM, text and picture, plus e-mail), built-in GPS, web that displays full HTML pages.

This will be available on the following price plans:
3-year contract: $49.95
2-year contract: $99.95
1-year contract: $199.95
30-day/Prepaid: $219.95

  1. In the U.S, Sprint has the phone shipped in an eco friendly box and with a 512mb micro SD card. Figures Bell would have to remove a couple good things for their higher profit margin. Still like the phone though.
