Any one who drives a lot would have observed the need for the law because of the increasing number of drivers with that "far away" look in their eyes who seem to be constantly on the phone. Yet, in typical fashion, I heard Dalton McGuinty being quoted on the radio less than three years ago, as saying there were no plans to bring in any such laws. There are so many drivers out there now who will be breaking the law that it will be almost impossible to enforce AND if many of them decide to take the matter to court?
