Earlier today we checked out the TELUS website and saw they increased the price of the BlackBerry Storm to a whopping $299.99. In the same article we really hoped that we would see a price drop to $99.99 and low and behold our wish was granted!
Reader “JoeSchmoe” left a comment in which he followed to the Storm purchase page where it shows a sweet drop to $99.99 on a 3-year contract. This is the lowest it’s ever been so we might just see a brand spanking new Storm 2 coming soon!

Too bad you can’t activate one. Telus system is down and the Tour is out of stock at all locations I’ve contacted. I’ve got a broken phone and need a replacement – Telus states they cannot help me, as well, that their Terms and Conditions protect the company from system failure, no matter how long the outage. Great to know! I pay – Telus doesn’t need to provide service. Buyer beware. Canadians just love to sit there and take it yet again from our wireless providers.
Boooooooo Telus!

What are you talking about?! The website is rarely down, and they said that they need to do EMERGENCY repairs to the system. they probably had a security problem and had to fix it to keep there customers personal info safe. wouldn’t you much rather go with-out your blackberry for a couple of days than have your personal info stolen?
And another thing, if you NEED a replacement, get something other than the Tour, they have MANY other phones that you could get. It’s not their fault that they are out of stock for a week or so, that phone is in high demand (if it’s sold out)
EVERY service has its hiccups, you have to expect that.
