TELUS drops price of BlackBerry Storm to $99.99

storm2dropEarlier today we checked out the TELUS website and saw they increased the price of the BlackBerry Storm to a whopping $299.99. In the same article we really hoped that we would see a price drop to $99.99 and low and behold our wish was granted!

Reader “JoeSchmoe” left a comment in which he followed to the Storm purchase page where it shows a sweet drop to $99.99 on a 3-year contract. This is the lowest it’s ever been so we might just see a brand spanking new Storm 2 coming soon!

  1. Too bad you can’t activate one. Telus system is down and the Tour is out of stock at all locations I’ve contacted. I’ve got a broken phone and need a replacement – Telus states they cannot help me, as well, that their Terms and Conditions protect the company from system failure, no matter how long the outage. Great to know! I pay – Telus doesn’t need to provide service. Buyer beware. Canadians just love to sit there and take it yet again from our wireless providers.

    Boooooooo Telus!

    • What are you talking about?! The website is rarely down, and they said that they need to do EMERGENCY repairs to the system. they probably had a security problem and had to fix it to keep there customers personal info safe. wouldn’t you much rather go with-out your blackberry for a couple of days than have your personal info stolen?

And another thing, if you NEED a replacement, get something other than the Tour, they have MANY other phones that you could get. It’s not their fault that they are out of stock for a week or so, that phone is in high demand (if it’s sold out)

EVERY service has its hiccups, you have to expect that.
