Odd: Telus skyrockets price of BlackBerry Storm to $299.99?
In one of the most odd moves, especially while we are waiting patiently for the Storm 2 to be officially announced, TELUS has decided to increase the price of the BlackBerry Storm 9530 to its highest price ever of $299.99 on a 3-year contract.
Even when it was launched back in December the price was at $249.99… perhaps it’s a trip in the TELUS matrix as it does show they are doing “an emergency system repair”. However, hold tight and wait a bit before you purchase online… hopefully this will drop to say $99.99??

Hey guys, try actually buying the phone on the Telus website. It might say $299.99 on the web page, but when you go and try to purchase the phone it shows up at $99.99 for a 3 year contract, $499.99 for a 2 year and $549.99 for a 1 year contract.. I’d say they’re clearing house for the new Storm 2’s! Here’s hoping Bell can get their act together and start offering phones like Telus that are worth looking at…
