Summers over... Rogers intros new "Text Messaging Travel Packs"

Now that Summer is almost over, Rogers has released some new texting packages.

The new worldwide text messaging travel packs are good for one month and there is no charge for incoming text messages (including roaming). There are three different travel packs available:
- $10 gives you access to 50-cent text messages worldwide for one month
- $20 gives you access to 40-cent text messages worldwide for one month
- $35 gives you access to 35-cent text messages worldwide for one month

  2. I still can’t get over the fact that were being raped by paying ANY text based fee, let alone the bogus 911 fee, system access fee…etc.
    Real competition can’t come fast enough for Canadians.

  3. The timing on this offering is superb — just after the summer traveling season.

    I think this site should automatically post a comment after every story: “And this just goes to show why there isn’t enough competition in the wireless sector in Canada”. And it would be a relevant comment just about every single time.
