Remember last week we found a brochure of iLane in the unboxing of the upcoming BlackBerry Tour Media Kit? Well Bell has officially released this at $599.95.
“iLane” was developed by Waterloo-based Intelligent Mechatronic Systems is a in-car hands-free device that allows you to manage your inbox by your voice. You’ll be able to open, listen and respond to your e-mails all by your voice. In addition you can so the same for your text messages and calendar appointments. If that’s not enough and if the radio is too far to reach you can get on-demand news, sports and weather updates.
Apart from the $599.95 price there is a mandatory $79 a year for “content services and upgrades”, or you can opt for the $7.99 monthly charge. This is compatible with any BlackBerry running OS 4.1 or newer and will work on the upcoming Tour 9630.
