YEEK - the nokia.ca site does actually say it has WLAN 802.11 b/g capabilties in it's specs. it's weird the rogers specs don't say it. maybe their testers also tried to search for the wording "wifi" in their mistake as well?

I am planing to buy this phone too. However, rogers website states NO WIFI/WLAN. and even Nokia.ca does not list WIFI under specs. I am just curious about if this either comes with or without WIFI.

@ Udit G Yes, this phone does have threaded text messaging. My N82 has threaded text messaging but I had to download an application called Nokia Conversations for get threaded texts. I'm sure Nokia Conversations is included on this phone as it is a much newer version.

Did you happen to notice that the 5800XM has a GPS and WiFi, in addition to Bluetooth?

Not only can use WiFi to reduce your cellular data usage by connecting to any wireless network that's available, but in addition you can tether your laptop to it using the JoikuSpot application, and thus have a connected laptop anywhere you go.

The GPS is quite good, but the real treat is the SportsTracker app from Nokia that will record all your outdoors activities, then post them to the SportsTracker website, along with any pics or vids you took while you were at it.

Bluetooth can be used to transfer photos or music to/from your home PC, but also you can connect a portable BT keyboard and speed up data entry on the phone (try that on the iPhone!).

One glaring omission in the S60 operating system is that there's no word completion or correction software available yet, which makes typing less accurate than on the iPhone.

Last point: the battery life is MUCH better on the 5800XM than on, say, the N82. You can use the GPS for hours. If you do run the battery done, just pop open the back and slip in a new battery.
