October beta release: Flash Player 10 for Smartphones

flash-smartphone-10-rm-engIt was back in February that Adobe stated they will launch a Flash multimedia player for smartphones, Flash Player 10, by the end of the year. News today comes from a slide in their Q2 2009 earnings presentation that shows a beta release for this coming in October 2009. Manufacturers such as Palm, Nokia, Google, and Microsoft are on board, but still absent from the table are RIM and Apple.
