Too bad Rogers' dealer-customer app and its infrastructure didn't prepare for this launch. My local Rogers Plus store experienced brutal latency with the Rogers customer activation/upgrade site. One store staffer was on hold with Rogers Home World for 45 minutes before her cordless handset died.

Guys, it's basic system architecture: Design and test your apps and infrastructure for peak volumes. Add more servers to share in the load balancing on a product launch day.
