Globalive places first network call!

globalivelogoGlobalive has set a wicked milestone in their quest in becoming a player in the Canadian wireless scene. They have officially successfully placed their first Advanced Wireless Network (AWS) on Saturday, June 13 2009.

Ken Campbell, CEO of Globalive said “It is a great day for us, but an even greater day for Canadian mobile
customers. This is the first of many calls and makes Globalive the first new provider in Canada to operationalize AWS technology. We have the advantage of being all-IP from the get-go. Reaching this milestone gives us the confidence to report that we are on schedule to meet our network commitments to both our stakeholders and
our future customers.”

Congrats Globalive… bring us those low rates!
