Metallica Fan? TELUS offers chance to seem them live

TELUS recently announced their “Summer of Music” contest, but you should know about another contest that is going on right now that could get you mingling with Metallica.

If you’re a TELUS customer all you have to do is send a text message of “WIN” + your city keyword code (see below) to short code 5588 between June 4, 2009 and June 30, 2009. You will then be entered into the draw that could win you 2 tickets to see Metallica in concert and have a chance to meet the band (pending artist availability).

There will be a winner in all concert locations. Here is the list of concert dates and short codes:

October 19, 2009 in Montreal at the Bell Centre (city keyword: WINMTL)
October 26, 2009 in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre (city keyword: WINTOR)
October 29, 2009 in Ottawa at the Scotiabank Place (city keyword: WINOTT)
October 31, 2009 in Quebec City at the Colisee Pepsi (city keyword: WINQC)
