Rogers HTC Magic Unboxing

Not to take away from the spotlight of the iPhone 3G S, but a nice reminder of a smashing device is the new Android powered HTC Magic. We’ve been playing around with this and will have a full review shortly… for now check out our unboxing of what contents you can expect to get when you buy yours.

This is now available at Rogers for $149.99 on a 3-year with a minimum $45 voice and data plan. Also, Rogers has brought back the $30/6GB data plan until July 1, 2009. Other price plans are: Outright for $599.99; 1-year for $524.99 and 2-year $499.99.

    1. Looking forward to the review. Can you focus on the on screen keyboard and its ease of use for typing things out? That is my only concern holding me back from getting the Magic vs the Dream with its qwerty.

    2. Just a quick request. When you do the review, would it be possible for you to make a note of how Rogers has changed the OS from just basic Android? (if they have) or if they’ve left it unchanged, because I’ve noticed that Canadian carriers like to modify the OS on phones to the point where half the features (like mp3 ringtones) don’t even work anymore. Thanks! Can’t wait!
