Nokia 5130 XpressMusic coming to Rogers Pay As You Go (just in time to snuggle up with Lady Gaga)

The Much Music Video Awards (MMVA) are coming up on June 21st and it’s unfortunately being co-hosted by the Jonas Brothers, but on a much better note the very talented Lady Gaga is set to preform.

So what does all this have to do with mobile phones? Well, Nokia has stepped up with another contest and its conveniently called the “MMVA Nokia Soundcheck”.

Essentially if you enter and win the contest you’ll be in the center of all the action during the MMVA Awards. Nokia will set you up with the 5130 Nokia XpressMusic phone and you’ll spend the weekend playing host and appearing on several Much Music shows, writing and upload pictures of what you’re doing all day and best of all… make friends with all the celebs. All you have to do to enter is tell why you should be the Host of the Nokia SoundCheck.

The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic will be coming to Rogers Pay As You Go soon and we’ll update you with pricing. This has overall dimensions of 107.5 x 46.7 x 14.8 mm and weights like a feather at 88 grams. It has a 2 inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Since this is a music device it has dedicated music keys and can hold up to 16 GB of expandable memory (microSD). This also comes with an FM radio, 3.5 mm headphone jack, MP3 player, Bluetooth compatible and a 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities.
