Good Cause: TELUS Day of Service (05/30/2009)

On Saturday, May 30th TELUS employees will be putting in some volunteer time. The event is called the “TELUS Day of Service” and this is the 4th year Telus team members, retirees, family and friends will give back to local communities such as local food banks, homeless shelters, YMCAs, SPCAs.

It’s expected that over 9,000 people will be part of this years experience. In 2008, over 8,600 Telus employees showed up for an average of three hours each with a combined total of almost 26,000 volunteer hours. More info here at Telus
