Not sure what to think. Solid improvements, but why a 3.2 camera?? Maybe for the low end, but should have had a 5 for the 'Pro'. Either way, I'm thinking I'm going for a Palm-Pre for now, just due to its amazing integration & mulitasking even with its crappier specs.
Maybe the iPhone after this one will be more like the Pre, as the weakest link is now Apples resistance to multitasking and resistance to ANY Qwerty/Slider phone.
You would think they would step up and make a "Palm-Pre/Blackberry" type phone to satisfy the huge chunk of the QWERTY market, but then Apple has never been able to capitalize on their products as well as they could have.

Not impressed!!!

3.2 Megapixel is an improvement to the 2 Megapixel it has now and it will match what the BB Storm has.

New BB Storm will finally have Wifi, however it will keep 3.2 Megapixel.

These two improvements will bring the product specs closer together.

Apple has ordered 3.2 & 5 Megapixel CMOS image sensor from OmniVision but will put the 5 Megapixel CIM into the IPod Touch.

Apple should be putting 5 Megapixel CMOS into the IPhone at the very least - see Samsung S7220, SGH-U900, & D980 - all have a 5 Megapixel camera and the Samsung S8300 & has a 8 Megapixel camera.

In addition, the proportion of Samsung's CMOS image sensors for HTC's handsets is expected to reach 50% with a more competitive pricing at the end of 2009.

Samsung's 8-megapixel CMOS is around the same size as current 3 megapixel CMOS modules, making it easy to integrate into current handset designs.

IPhone & BB Storm 3.2 megapixel - not impressed!!!

Sigh Canadians will lock themselves in for 3 years and over pay for a device while our neighbors in the south get 2 year contracts with fair pricing.
