Rogers cell towers receives pushback from Charlottetown residents

Rogers "let the community down" and builds unapproved cell tower in Ancaster, Ontario.The federal government ordered the City of Charlottetown to start building a Rogers Wireless cellphone tower and the local residents are not pleased at all. Even though construction has already begun, a petition has been started but the city councillors say they can’t stop it as it was an initiative conceived by Industry Canada.

Catherine Mullally said “This issue is a health issue as far as we’re concerned. And we feel Industry Canada is out of line in requiring the City of Charlottetown to issue a building permit, which they did.”More here at CBC
