Bell joins the Wireless Bluetooth promotion party

bellbluetoothpartyimageWith the recent news that the Ontario government passed Bill 118, “Countering Distracted Driving and Promoting Green Transportation Act”, otherwise known as the law that bans the use of wireless devices while driving.

Even though this will be in full effect in the fall, carriers and manufactures are taking this opportunity to prepare us for the inevitable and offer up Bluetooth headset rebates and promotions. We’ve seen Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia and now Bell has come forward with a promotion of their own.

The promo is simple: When you buy either a Palm Centro, HTC Diamond, LG Rumour (black), and Samsung Cleo (Pink or Blue) on a 3-year contract they will throw in a free Jabra BT2010 Bluetooth headset. This promo offer ends May 20, 2009.

One thing is certain with all these Bluetooth offers… they’ll finally be getting rid of very old inventory and make room for the new Bluetooth headsets coming!
