Nokia Beta Labs releases “Here and Now”

I check out Nokia Beta Labs often as I have always liked how they share upcoming applications they are working on. They have released a new program called “Here and Now”.

It’s pretty basic but it’s the simplicity that makes it valuable. According to the site “Here and now offers easy-to-use web services related to your current location. Check the local weather at a glance and get other topical information while on the move. This beta is a sneak preview of what we are planning to integrate preinstalled in forthcoming Nokia devices. The initial release contains two services: the local weather and the local events  – and there is more to come.”
