Proof: Koodo to launch Samsung M540 Slyde
We’ve been saying that Koodo Mobile will release the Samsung m540 Slyde for sometime now and low and behold it has showed up in the Future Shop “Cellshop” Spring 2009 catalog (last phone on the right in the image).
No word on an official release date or pricing. The Koodo version of the Slyde will only be available in Black. Features of the M540 are that it’s great for texting as it’s a side slider with a full QWERTY keyboard, has a 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory up to 8 GB, GPS, 2.1″ screen, weighs in at 92 grams, overall dimensions are 113 x 52 x 17.2 mm.

So when exactly is this going to launch.? do you think within this week? ‘Cause i currently have the lg keybo which has stopped working and this is the second one ive gotten.

The phone is currently showing on Future Shop’s website as of 12:00p.m (EST) on April 1st, 2009. Still nothing on Best Buy or the Koodo Mobile website so hopefully its not an April Fool’s Joke
Phone is listed for $149 (NO TAB), meaning if you don’t have a tab you walk away with the phone for free.
