hello all, Has anyone used both the LG Neon and the Samsung Propel to make a good comparison?? I have been using the LG Neon for a while. It is a cool phone but certain things about it are frustrating, eg. U cant use your mp3 for ringtones, the Bluetooth just drains the battery like crazy, not to mention the fact that nothing came with it in the box except the charger and new Sim card. I was looking at this Samsung Propel and I like the style of it, and some of the features. I could use some more input though. thanks

i got my propel a week ago ,should i let battery totally discharge before charging it in again or charge it when it is down to last bar

Can this phone put custom ringtones on? As mp3 files? Can I put different ringtones for when I receive text messages? Most Samsung phones only allow you to use the ones from the setlist for some reason…
Most importantly does it have a regular ringing tone?!I don’t like using the lame polyphonic ones and I don’t like to spend 5 bucks on a true tone so i usually stick to the “normal” ring
I know for a fact that the Samsung Gravity does not have this, the closest is some “dropping tone”

hey!

if guneet can answer.. or anyone i wanted to know if i buy this phone and put my sim in.. will all my contacts and numbers be present on the phone? i watched a review but it was a propel on at&t and the guy said you had to transfer from one phone to the other somehow. is this true?

i want to stick with samsung but the most important thing to me in a phone is call quality/ signal strength… with samsung phone should i go with.. propel with rogers or vice with bell?

I was wondering how to use the numbers and symbols on the qwerty keyboard on the samsung propel?
I cant figure it out?

Do NOT.. i repeat.. NOT get the LG Neon.. Ive gotten two so far from rogers and have now demanded a new model phone (samsung propel) we’ll see how this new phone goes but overall.. me and some friends had the same problems with the LG Neon.
