Wishing Android was in Canada: Google adds My Tracks App

What is missing in Canada is definitely Google Android… rumours are flying around that we might have this OS this coming Summer. In the meantime, check out the latest app called “My Tracks“.

From the video it looks to be an advanced version of Nike+.

The official description by Google says “My Tracks is an application for your Android phone that enables you to record GPS tracks and view live statistics – such as time, speed, distance, and elevation – while hiking, biking, running or participating in other outdoor activities. Once recorded, you can share your tracks, upload them to Google Spreadsheets and visualize them on Google My Maps.”

It’s really amazing to see what can be done with you mobile phone now. Check out this video:

  2. i dont kno bout that iv been using Google Android for months now.. if you have a CDMA htc touch its not a problem..

    XDA may have it on other phones aswell, but with UNLIMITED data for "Dollars" on bells touch. still tha Best smartphone in canada!..
