In addition, the Sony Ericsson CyberShot C905a will also be launching with Rogers and is scheduled for a Q2 2009 release. This will be replacing the K850i and has a 8.1 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, comes loaded with a 2 GB memory card, dual-band HSPA, Wi-Fi, music recognition. The rumoured price plans will come in around $299.99 on a 3-year contract.
The Sony Ericsson T303 will launch with with Fido early March. This is a slider phone with a stellar 1.3 megapixel camera (no flash). Weighs in at 96 grams a display of 1.8 inches, Internal memory of 8MB, MP3 player, FM radio and speakerphone… looks like it will come in “Blossom Pink”.

I wrote to SE this week and they responded that there were no plans to launch the X1a in Canada! Clearly there is a lot a confusion surrounding this phone in North America. It’s hard to understand what is going on and hard to believe that SE would actually launch an unlocked phone without a cell phone provider backing it up.

the xperia has lost all its over-priced hype…..if rogers doesnt price it competitively on release, the phone will be a major flop.
